WeCanvas SMS Messaging Program
WeCanvas ("we," "us," or "our") operates a text messaging program to deliver canvas invitations and activity notifications to users of the WeCanvas service at ourcanvasspace.com.
What Messages You Will Receive
When you opt in to the WeCanvas SMS program, you may receive the following types of text messages:
- Invitations to join a shared canvas from a family member or friend
- Notifications about new content posted to canvases you belong to
- Account-related updates and confirmations
How You Opt In (Consent)
You opt in to receive text messages from WeCanvas through one of the following methods:
- Public SMS consent page: You may request SMS access directly at ourcanvasspace.com/sms-consent, where WeCanvas displays message frequency, HELP, STOP, message and data rates, privacy links, and an optional consent checkbox before you submit your own number.
- Invitation opt-in: An existing WeCanvas user shares a secure invite link to a shared canvas. The invited person opens that link, signs in or creates a WeCanvas account, and then enters the phone number they personally use and may optionally check the SMS consent box for themselves inside the app. No family member can opt in on behalf of another person.
- Account opt-in: When creating a WeCanvas account, you may provide your phone number and consent to receive text notifications about canvas activity.
By opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided and that you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from WeCanvas at that number.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on canvas activity. You may receive multiple messages per week depending on how active your canvases are.
Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.
Text STOP to cancel. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any WeCanvas text message. You will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
Text HELP for help. Reply HELP to any WeCanvas text message for support information, or email us at support@ourcanvasspace.com.
Supported Carriers
WeCanvas SMS messaging is supported on all major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
No Obligation
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from WeCanvas. You may use the WeCanvas web application without opting in to text messages.
Privacy
We respect your privacy. Your phone number and personal information are collected solely to provide the WeCanvas service. We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your phone number or personal information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
